With car
Take the A 95 motorway to the end of the Eschenlohe motorway, then continue on the B23 towards Garmisch / Fernpass. Then drive on to the center of Garmisch on the B 23, after the traffic lights at Pizza Hut after approx. 300 m turn left into Riesserkopfstrasse, after another 50 m turn right into Klarweinstrasse.
With train
Munich can be reached from all directions by ICE or IC, there are hourly connections to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From the train station, then continue with bus 1 or 2 in the direction of Kreuzeck or Aüßere Maximilianstraße, get off at the Rießerkopfstraße stop. Then cross the street, turn right into Klarweinstraße (signs).
With plane
Munich Airport is 120 km away from Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Innsbruck Airport is 60 km away. When you exit the airport, look for a sign with a solid green circle with a white "S" leading to it (S-Bahn). The signs will guide you to the airport train station. Follow the signs to the Deutsche Bahn (DB) counter to get a ticket to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
